Hoooked Wavy Blends is a versatile and sustainable yarn made from pre-consumer textile waste. With its chainette (i-cord) construction, it offers excellent stitch definition—making it ideal for crochet projects that benefit from clear, crisp textures. Wavy Blends is composed of 80% high quality recycled cotton and 20% other recycled fibers. Textile remnants from the fabric industry, which would otherwise be discarded as waste, are repurposed into yarn. These remnants are broken down, spun into yarn again, and then worked into the chainette that forms Wavy Blends. Each yarn cake features a beautiful gradient, inspired by the flowing hues of wild oceans and natural rivers. Wavy Blends is particularly well-suited for baskets, bags, rugs, and home décor projects. Its Aran weight provides structure and quick results, though its heavier feel makes it less suitable for garments.
