Hoooked Ribbon XL is a versatile yarn made from pre-consumer textile waste. It is unspun, meaning it has no twist—perfect for crochet projects with excellent stitch definition. Thanks to its fabric composition, it offers a slight stretch, making it easy to work with. Ribbon XL is composed of 80% recycled cotton and 20% other recycled fibers. Textile remnants from the fabric industry, which would otherwise be discarded as waste, are repurposed into yarn. These remnants are broken down, spun into yarn again, and then worked into the knitted ribbon tape that forms Ribbon XL. Ideal for crocheting baskets, bags, rugs, and home décor, Ribbon XL’s Super Bulky weight allows for fast, satisfying results. Ribbon XL can also be used for making wearable garments.
