Badus is a modern crochet shawl that is designed to make the best use of a single skein of yarn. It features a long and slow gradient, starting from one corner with one color and finishing in the other corner (and around the piece) with a completely different one. The yarn, Laines du Nord Poema, is especially suited for this design for two reasons. First, the Z-twist single ply construction is ideal for crochet; no splitting and weird twisting while crocheting! Furthermore, the soft no-pill merino makes it a pleasure to work with and wear around your neck. The shawl is made by using simple techniques and basic crochet stitches.
